 "MGRILL", the multicuisine Speciality Restaurant, was started at Focus Mall, Calicut. It was inaugurated by K T Janardhanan, a well known general merchant.

 "Brown Town", the new bakery division was founded at Vellayil, Calicut.

A new branch of 'Salkara' at West Nadakavu, Calicut was inaugurated by Mrs. Saraswathy Valsan.

'Salkara' had further expansion by opening a new restaurant at Ansar Mall, Sharjah.

Another branch of 'Salkara' started operating at Food Court in Calicut Railway Station.

A new branch of 'Salkara' was opened in Lulu Hyper Market, Al Quesis, Dubai.

Paragon Group opened Catering Division office at Kannur Road, Calicut.

Paragon set foot in the Middle East and started its first restaurant, "Calicut Paragon, in Karama, Dubai.

Mrs. Saraswathy Valsan inaugurated a new restaurant with another brand name, 'Salkara', another feather in our cap.

"Paragon Catering Division" established.

The business got further expanded when Mr.Sumesh, the grandson of Late Mr.Govind, took the leadership and management.

After the demise of Mr. PM Valsan, his wife Mrs.Saraswathy Valsan took over the business.

Paragon Baking Company was founded by Late Mr.Govind along with his son Mr.PM Valsan.
